What are the 3 learning states of a Noiseproof Summary?

Each Noiseproof Summary has 3 learning states: “Not Started”, “In Progress”, and “Done”. The actual state is based on your activity, as explained below.

1 – Not Started
By default, all Noiseproof Summaries are in the “Not Started” state.

2 – In Progress
Once you click on the “View Summary” button, the Noiseproof Summary state moves from “Not Started” to “In Progress” state.

3 – Completed
Reading all sections in a Noiseproof Summary will NOT move its state to the “Completed” state. Only when you click on the “Complete Summary” button, the learning state moves from “In Progress” to the “Completed” state.

In this way, we give you full control to decide when to mark the Noiseproof Summary as completed. We applied this approach because many of our users have different perspectives on when is the optimal time to mark a Noiseproof Summary as completed.

For example, some users will click on the “Complete Summary” button after they completed reading all sections in the summary. In contrast, others prefer to do so when they completed only part of the sections (if they already have prior knowledge on the topic and are only interested in reading specific sections).

The “Complete Summary” button will be visible only after you purchase a subscription.

The Noiseproof Summary learning state moves in one direction only. It starts with “Not Started”, moves to “In Progress”, and then to “Completed”.

The Noiseproof Summary state cannot move backward. For example, if a summary’s current state is “in progress,” it cannot go back to “not started”. If a summary’s current state is “Completed”, it cannot go back to “In Progress”.

Once the state is “Completed”, the Noiseproof Summary will always stay in the “Completed” state.
